The Bloods are a street gang founded in Los Angeles, California. The Bloods rivals are the Crips. The Bloods are also known for the red worn by the people in the gang and by the gang symbols. The Bloods started their gang in the 1970s to compete against the crips in Los Angeles. In 1996 the bloods got more violent than different gangs, but now less organized than others.
